I'm looking for a 11 1/4" tail shaft assembly with casting # 3793803.

Can anyone give me a source for this?

I can't tell you where to get one, but I can tell you this: this is not a part that you want to need. The GM #3793803 extension housing had only THREE applications: 1963 Corvette with Powerglide, 1964 Corvette with Powerglide, and 1963 Chevrolet and GMC series 10 and 20 light trucks with Powerglide. The latter might be your best source if you could find one. For the most part, these trucks have probably been recycled (maybe several times) by now. However, I'll bet there are still wrecking yards out there on the "highways and byways" that still might have a few around. The BIG problem is that with scrap steel prices being what they are, a lot of this "old iron" is going to rapidly find its way to some Chinese or Indian smelter. So, get out there quick.

The GM #3793803 was discontinued without supercession in October, 1979.
