'63 Battery Hold-Down
A while back, I purchased a NORS (GM replacement) C2 battery hold-down and shield with the GM stickers as shown on the right. On the left, is a Repro hold-down, supposedly correct for an early '63.
Which is more corrrect, the replacement unit with the end-plates (as shown by the arrows) or the Repro - with no end plates to frame the battery top?
Does anyone know the difference between an original early '63 battery hold-down and a later '63 hold-down?
