70 clamp removal

How do I remove the heater hose clamp/clip from the fender well? This is the clamp/clip to that holds both hoses as they are routed back to the core.

Bill, they used rivetts you can get new clamps from parragon hope this helps

Hi Bill,
I'm thinking you're asking about getting the clamp loose from the plate that's riveted to the inner fender.
If you look at the center of the clamp you'll see 2 small 'ears'. These ears need to be spread APART which releases the clamp from the plate. You do the reverse, squeeze the 'ears' TOGETHER' to mount the clamp back into the square hole in the plate.
You can only do this a couple of times before the metal fatigues and you break one of the ears off. Do you want a couple of clamps with only 1 ear?
