    Need weight of bare block for '69 427 cid

    Good evening, I have purchased a replacement block for our 427 in Niagra-on-the-Lakes On, Canada. It will be shipped to South Lyon, MI. To fill out the paperwork I need a close estimate of the weight. Anyone out there have this number?

      A bare cast iron big block will weigh about 260-280 lbs.
