Off topic : Pulse like response in deceleration in 06
I have an 06 which seems to pulse when decelerating. Example when I hit it up to 75-80 then take the foot off the gas there is a pulse like slow down response something like down shifting. Just rode in an 08 and when put through the same acceleration and deceleration I didn't notice this result. Thought this would be a good place for a informed answer. thanks, tom

Hello;
Have an '06 w/ automatic paddle shift.
Don't recall the experience you write about, but could it have something to do with the paddle shift transmission.
Just a thought.

Re: Off topic : Pulse like response in deceleration in 06
I have an 07 Z06 which does not do that either. These cars are controlled by a computer...or many computers. The ECM contols how quickly the throttle closes. Does your car have a "tune"? Are you the original owner?
I would suggest a scan tool or someone with a scan tool to see if there are any codes. If you are not the original owner, perhaps the previous owner had the car "tuned" to get more HP and this is a by-product.
Also, you might try www.Corvetteforum.com. Lots of C6 owners there.
Just a couple of guesses.

Just looked at the site Clem posted. There seems to be a thread about this topic on page 2 of the "C6 mechanical" page.
