    64 Engine Fan

I've searched the threads and my books and can't find anything specific enough. Need help. Can anyone describe the cooling engine fan for a 64 365 hp non air car?
    Thanks
    Rand

The 5th edition is also out now. I have it, just not with me today. It may even expand on the info a bit more, but I can't say for certain.

I think that is what I have. Maybe I'm blind.

            Look in the chassis section.

If it's more specific info than described by Tom's scan of the 4th ed. '63-4 TIM&JG, let me know -- I have the original off '64 #086xx (button-head rivets) incl clutch assy, and could take pics.

P.S. Tom's '64 edition has part # typos for the 7-bladed C60 fan; the first and last "5"s should be '3's. Maybe this has been corrected by the 5th ed.

P.S. #2 anybody know when the rivet heads changed to flat, in '64 MY ? Reason I ask is because the '65 TIM&JG (5th ed. - latest) says "the rivets typically used on ALL fans have mushroom heads".

As a matter of fact, the GM #3770529 is still available from GM, although it might vary in minor ways from the original. I previously said it was discontinued but I was incorrect; it's still available for about 100 bucks, GM list.
