    Quadrajet help

I am not sure if this is appropriate to ask here, but does anyone have or know where I can locate a bowl for a 2203 quadrajet dated E, D or F 2? Not going to say how I screwed mine up (just got it back from being restored), but I did.
Thanks so much for the help.

No laughing though!! I unscrewed the fuel inlet to see if there was a new fuel filter in it (I know, Tom at Custom said the same thing) when I went to screw it back on I somehow didn't alighn it an stripprd the threads! There, are you happy! I was sick. Now, can you help me?

        Jeff,
Contact the place that did the restoration. They may be able to repair the threads. If they can't do it, I have the contact information for a carb shop in the Rockford, IL area that can probably put a Helicoil in there.

            Jeff,
You are in good company. That problem is all to common. As Terry said you can have a helicoil installed. Bob Kunz developed another fix that uses an "O" Ring. He did my Camaro Q-Jet that way several years ago and it worked quite well. Just another option.

Thanks guys, I have sent it back and they are try to do the Heli coil. It doesn't look like it is working. They are trying to find a bowl as well, I was just trying to hedge my bets. I haven't messed too many things up, but this one was tough to take.
