My ZR1 is coming out of the shop tomorrow. GM is closing its doors for the hollidays for 2 weeks. My pick up date is moved back to late December. Any of you GM guys think I will see it?

Did you pay them in full ?
If not yes you will see it they need the money $$

I took museum delivery and must pay the dealer prior to pick up. Will drive back to texas fast!

This is the same car, it is now built but waiting on GM to open back up.
They apparently took two weeks as a cost saving measure??
I was told by the museum that it may be the 23rd before I can get the car.

Although not a ZR1, my wife and I are scheduled to do the buyers/photo tour to watch our 2009 being built next Thursday, Dec 11 and continuing on the 12th. Still listed that way on the museum's website. Do you know if the factory was already closed or is closing for the two weeks after the workday on Friday the 12th?

Got if from the source, the plant was closed last week and this week and scheduled to re-open Monday, Dec. 8.

Ronnie,

We would all most likely be interestred in your opinion of the car after the first 700 miles, Cheri and I drove ours home 780 miles all but about 50 miles two lane road on purpose, from the museum to Oklahoma, it was one of the best rides and drives I have ever experieinced in my Corvette life. It is quite a ride, enjoy.

Enjoy the tour and the car Vinnie. I wish they had the pictures last year. I missed that part. Timing is everything.
