Judging question: RPO sticker on a 1994

This past August I was talking to Eric and Gary in the NCRS area at Carlisle and both informed me that information was not correct. I could have my 94 judged for Top Flight and if it met all the point values that I could receive a top flight Award.
I know the 94 model year is not being judged yet, but I want to be prepared for that day.
    So, which is it?
Who do I need to contact that knows the correct answer?

Gary & Eric are giving you the correct information.

    Who to contact:
At the top of the page is a radio button titled: "Contacts" Click it
On the page that comes up, scroll down a bit on the right hand side of the page to "C4 and C5 Judging Manual Coordinator" Allen Termain. He is the man for unjudged C4 info. His contact information is there.

I believe (confirm it with Allen) that C4 and newer Corvettes are required to show their build documentation. If you don't have that yet, go to www.corvettemuseum.com and seek out their page on Bowling Green build documents. They can probably provide that paperwork for your car.

I don't know how it would effect the flight score of your car, but I distinctly remember Chip Miller's 94 or 95 ZR1 had no sticker either. I contacted a friend in the plant at the time and we were able to secure one for him. Not sure if Lance still has the car, but he may be able to confirm what ZR1 it was and you might check the build time frame to see if this was common to cars built in a certain week or month. I'm almost sure the car I helped him with was a yellow 94. Good luck.

Thanks for the correct info Terry....nice to talk to you again
I have the build sheet from the NCM and my original tank sticker from the 94....I think I'm covered on documents

When cleaning the Vette up I even found a pack of matches under the drivers seat from "tops and Tails"....a strip club in Atlanta......confirmed.......the second owner of my Vette was a striper

This car has a great history

One might even say a colorful history.
Say hi to Allen for me. I always bring him "issues."

Plus having a colorful history...this 94 model has "0" options, no electronic AC, no power seats, no FX3, not even a 6 speed. Admiral Blue with an auto trans is the way it rolled off the Bowling Green line in Sept of 93...it's a very early coupe dressed in Admiral blue for 1994

Ha...I never thought of it like that. I do know that the original lid was replaced by the third owner

Oh, so it DID have a sticker, but it is now just missing. I thought it was delivered new without one.

I'm guessing it was trashed with the old lid....but it might have made it out of the factory without an RPO sticker or maybe it's stuck under something else....who knows...I sure don't and I'v looked everywhere on that Vette
