The car is gone, my daughter in the picture now has three children of her own..and I still have those hubcaps. Oddly enough I came across those hubcaps yesterday as I was looking for some 57 Chevy hubcaps for a friend. Found those too!

I bought that car from Placke Toyota in St.Louis who at one time was selling lots of old vintage first and second generation Corvettes on there lot. I remember a 63 Sebring Silver Coupe that was spectacular. They stopped selling the old Corvettes and the 54 sat in their shop where I found it and bought it.

Time marches on!

Bill..yes..I remember the radio you donated for the 54..I have not forgotten. Those were the days when people gave people stuff. Still happens between people who remember.
