I had ALL the harnesses in my 68 replaced with harnesses from M&H (purchased from Ecklers) and the fit and function was dead on; including all the fiber optics.

I've used them in the past with no problems. Another source would be Lectric Limited.

I used M&H to re-wire my '55. It was perfect. Also, the tech line was very helpful, I have 3 different wiring diagrams for my car, each one had conflicting info. The help line walked me through my questions and the '55 fired up with no electrical problems. Good quality with great service.

Does M&H stand out as being more correct or of better quality than Letric Limited or vise versa?

"Does M&H stand out as being more correct or of better quality than Letric Limited or vise versa?"

Each has its strengths/weakness issues. M&H is perhaps the largest mfgr/supplier of classic car wiring harness components in the world covering MANY different car lines while LL puts its focus on Corvette. M&H is a GM licensee and goes to length to get the part right (as best they can, some wiring components are long discontinued while other aspects of originality are no longer 'street legal' for use). They've retooled at their expense quite a few of the original Packard connectors + lamps sockets that've been discontinued over time.

LL began life as a 'marketeer' having 3rd parties supply the product to them and brand labeling it. In recent years, they've gotten into the business of building their own harness components. But, the last I checked they do NOT manufacture 100% of the catalog items they supply.

Bear in mind, M&H stands behind ('protects') their distributors by not catering to the end user with functional discounts and/or large quantities of on-hand inventory. They run a tight ship trying to minimize off-the-shelf inventory, so you can expect items on your order list to be back ordered awaiting the next factory production run while LL is more likely to have your order complete, ready to ship...

In my experience there's NO COMPARISON between the two in terms of after-sale support. M&H has a fully staffed 'help desk' manned with knowledgeable folks. Plus, the CEO believes in managing by 'walking around' and you just might catch him fielding calls at the order desk and/or talking to customers on the support line.

Bottom line, IF you're in a position to order before being in a 'drop dead' time crunch for your parts, M&H is my choice!!!

I have delt with M & H since 1980, when it was just Mike and his staff. They ALWAYS gave great support. He even 'borrowed' my original 57 front parking light assembly so he could make a replacement 'correctly', even with the outside insulation.

Lectric Limited has good parts also. I suppose it was the fact that M & H were in California only 55 miles away that led me to them. Often, I would drive to the warehouse and pick product up.

I have used M&H on two restoration projects.
Nothing but great service, good product, fast service.
