anybody bought the new repo that lacks the DOT embossed in the glass? how do they compare to an original 56-7 T-3 in terms of height of the SEALED BEAM embossed in the glass?Is the Pebbling inside the triangle comparable to an original? thanks,mike

I bought a pair a couple of years ago, and they look very correct on the outside. The dead giveaway is behind the glass. I don't know the technical name for it, but where the light is emited from is a small half circle smaller than a dime. The repro's have a black circle the size of a nickel with a 1/4 horizontal slot in the middle. Judges will catch it, but most people would never see the difference. The repro's are a LOT brighter also.
