Hi - I want to fit a radio to my 59 Vette that matches (or is similar) to the orginal. The reproduction unit from Vintage Auto Radios looks good. Does any one have experience with their unit? Is there another source someone can recommend? Oh - I want to use the main dash speaker only. Thanks - Mark

Re: C1 Radio
CUSTOM AUTO SOUND at http://www.casmfg.com/ was founded in 1977 by Carl Sprague, a member of Corvettes of Southern California. Carl wanted his 63 split window car to have a better sound system.
Today, they make systems for over 400 different makes of vintage automobiles. There Fullerton, CA factory does wonders, especially keeping your dash area factory original in appearance.Last edited by James G.; November 23, 2008, 01:42 PM.Over 80 Corvettes of fun ! Re: C1 Radio
You may want to talk to Fred's Classic Auto Radios & Clocks in Lenexa, Kansas. The owner made a presentation at one of our Chapter meetings and handles all radios since 1947through 1977(no imports). Have not had any feedback yet on his service, but he was well accepted by our members and certainly talked a good business history and knowledge of antique radios.
You can call him at 913-599-2303 or his web is www.Fredsclassicradios.comChuck Lyman
