    C2 Part Number Catalog

Can anyone tell me a good source / web site for C2 part numbers, descriptions and / or pictures? I am trying to validate head markings, type and finish for bolts, screws, washers and other fasteners.

    Ron,

For head markings and hardware info quite a bit can be gleaned from Corvette Central at:

    http://www.corvettecentral.com/

    You might also try Zip:

    and Paragon:

      Ron,

I hear that "Corvette By The Numbers" by Alan Colvin has the part numbers you need. I have it on order, so I can't speak personally to it just yet. It's available on Amazon.com.

The Dobbins book is the Vette Vues Fact Book, right?

          Thanks,

Thanks to all who replied to my post. I have the Assembly Manual, '67 Judging Guide and Noland Adams '63-'67 book. What I have been unable to find is correct head marks and finish (cad, zink, phoaphate) etc on some bolts and screws. As an example during judging I got points off for rear valance screms that where not "black phosphate". I have the origionals, correct head markings, intrgal washer, cad. J/M states cad / judge says black phosphate? That's why I was looking for "official documentation".

                  Ron,
I have original 67 rear valence screws that are definitely cad. Maybe both were used?

Judging error - those screws are cad, not phosphated, assuming you're talking about the screws that attach the top of the valance panel to the body below the bumpers.

Correct, those are the bolts I was talking about. I thought it was a judgiung error (only 1 point) but wanted to get other opinions. Thanks John and John for your information
