    Solenoid clip

What does the stamped letter 'P' represent on the starter solenoid wire harness clip? Manufacturer?

    Thanks,

I can't say, for sure. However, in virtually all cases, this sort of stamping indicates a manufacturer's ID. GM parts specs almost always called for parts to include a manufacturer's ID mark EXCEPT for parts of internal GM manufacture OR with specific GM approval for omitting it. A part like this clip would almost always be manufactured by an outside vendor and require an ID mark.
