This particular fan clutch was never originally used on any Corvette and, very likely, no other Chevrolet model, either. Note the slots instead of holes in the mounting flange. I know of no ORIGINAL Corvette fan clutch which used slots instead of holes. Every GM replacement fan clutch I ever purchased had holes, too. Some Delco units, which are basically aftermarket units in Delco boxes, have the slots, though
This clutch does otherwise appear to be a Sweitzer-manufactured clutch. I'd say it's quite old, probably dating back to the late 60's or early 70's.In Appreciation of John Hinckley
