    D & M Restoration in Greenville, SC

I need a wiper motor rebuilt and my radio checked out and repaired in my 1963.

Has anyone had any work done by D & M and were you pleased with the work and the pricing?

    Thanks,

    Jerry

D&M has done some work for me. I happen to live in Greenville so I'm able to visit their shop. No problems.

I sent my wiper motor to the guy in Ohio. Wasn't pleased with the result. Looked like he used a wire wheel on the housing. Maybe mine slipped thru the cracks as others say they've had good luck with him. I wound up "fixing" the exterior myself.......with a soft bead blast.

D&M rebuilt the vacuum wiper motor for my '54 and it worked perfectly upon its return.... in stark contrast to how it wouldn't run at all when I sent it to them. I was satisfied.

They did a great job on my speedometer and tachometer cluster without the full dash panel. It came back looking brand new and reasonably priced.

They restored the radio for my 68 and did a great job.

The AM radio in the LWC works perfect. First time it was judged the ops guy-some old guy with shorts and blond hair who talks funny asked old JD a question. He said who in the hell restored this radio. I said what's wrong with it He said it's the best sounding one I ever heard in my life. I said never been restored. All original. He said that's why it sounds so good. Now this is not old JD talking here. It's the ops judge. I am not knocking anyone who restores radios. Just being cute as you had to be there.

I had them rebuild my 65 radio and wiper motor. Good to deal with.
