'61 Ignition Shielding
I am having a fit trying to get some new ignition shielding on my '61. It was a new set from Paragon. The part I am having a problem with is the right hand vertical shield. When I get it over the spark plug wire bracket on the draft tube, it is too short to go up inside the Distributor top shield, and the bottom it is too far below the hole in the Lower horizontal shield. If I pull it up to connect the bottom in Lower shield, there is about 6" of spark plug wires showing. On top of all that I can't get the hole in the vertical shield to align with the nut on the back of the distributor shield. Is the vertical shield supposed to go up inside the Distributor shield? Any suggestions?
