Brandon, all of the above has been good information.
However, if you are seriously considering buying the car, please have a qualified judge accompany you to inspect the car and advise you as to what the car really is in order to have your "eyes wide open" should this result in a purchase. Pay a fee if need be. Check with your nearest Chapter, there a plenty of candidates in your neighborhood.
It seems that I receive a call each week or so from someone who has JUST PURCHASED a car and learning the car has issues, or they feel the car was not as presented or what they expected.
Then, AFTER THE FACT, they would like me to view the car to determine what they actually ended up with.
Unfortunately, not having taken the necessary precautions, they are usually very disappointed.

Appreciate all the reponses.

I'll keep on looking but I may from time to time post a picture on here to see if it's worth going to look at because ofcourse it's rare you find a midyear you want at your back door....so theres probably going to be some travel time to get one.

still not sure about the raised pad on the left fender? and what exactly john was talking about with the hood...both those items are not correct just not sure how you could see they wasn't correct.

See the raised pad just to the rear of the hinge. That is a 66-67 only feature, which means, the inner-fender has been changed. That in itself might not be reason enough not to consider this car, but it is a red flag. You need to determine what else has been done and how well the repairs were done to evaluate the body.
