Hi,
I have come to find out my 69' 350/350, M20 does not have the original rear end. One of the previous owners has dropped in a 3.08 posi from the late 70's. My question is this, What drive train combinations were offered for the small block? I understand that the gear ratios were 3.08, 3.36, 3.55, 3.70 and 4.11. Since my engine and trans are original, what would have been offered from the factory for the 350/350, M20? On the web I found a data sheet that indicated that only 3.36(AM) or 3.55(AN) were offered for my combo. Is this correct? In my quest to find the correct dated rear end I want to make sure I am looking for the correct gear ratio also.
Does this make sense?
Thanks,
Joe
