    Seat Belts

    I would like to keep my dated seat belts, but I would like to put some better hardware (buckels and inserts) on them. I got some improved ones off Ebay, wth less rust. Now how and where can I get the stitching redone after the exchange? I have looked at car repair, shoe repair, sewing shops and nobody has that large stitching found on the belts.

      Charlie Santorelli. Seatbelt Sity. 908-719-2354. Not a warm and fuzzy chit chatty kind of guy, but probably the best there is in seatbelts. He did mine. I'm sure others will tell you the same.

          Dale,
          Charlie did mine too (just lap belts for my '70). I sent him the remnant pieces from my passenger side, and he did a great job on the complete set. I am very happy with the detail and authenticity. I believed he charged me the going rate; so not cheap, but fair. Good luck.
