Evening Bill....The pic of your '63 where was that taken? I think I judged your car many years ago in Michigan, but I thought it was at the GM tech centre, could be wrong. Could be 1985-6-7 not sure.

Dos the last picture showing a radio indicate a radio was added?

          Re: Show us your Corvette

Yes the last pic shows that someone along the way added a radio very poorly. When I bought the car 35plus yrs ago I noticed the radio bezels were missing so when I went to put them on, the dash was not cut to accept the bezel that illuminates, that is what is absent in the photo. So then I looked for other indicators that maybe this was a no radio car. The antenna was not located in the proper place, actually it was installed by installing through the luggage area, not above the muffler. The left rear has not been drilled for the antenna and the grommet that the antenna lead and rear wiring goes through only has one hole, the rear wiring runs through it. Also there is no lower support for the bottom of the radio behind the right side panel, plus no indications that antenna ground straps were secured to the trans cross member.

Rather interesting car. I think I have only seen one other silver/dark blue interior car. That was a coupe at the National in Williamsburg Virginia in the mid 80's. What other options does your car have? 4 speed or Powerglide?

                Re: Show us your Corvette

Evening Dan....I also was at a National in Williamsburg in the 80's. Caravanned with the NCRS out of Michigan/Indiana. Stopped at Gary Mortimers place.
The car is equipped with PS, PB, AUTO, BOTH TOPS, LEATHER, TINTED GLASS, BACKUP LIGHTS, had base black wall tires (original still in carrier) no posi or power windows and I would say no radio. Always wondered why order expensive options yet not finish it with the optional 300hp, pw, radio and white wall tires. I believe this car was dealer inventory since it was final assembled end of April yet did not sell till end of Sept/64.

Do you have paperwork from which you determined the sold date?

Yes I have the Florida DMV records showing the original owner and all owners after that, have talked to the 2nd 3rd and 4th owners.

Sharp eye Terry! The girl is my lovely wife Barbara.

I'm l lucky man as she enjoys the hobby, hanging out with our Corvette club friends, and travelling with me to shows around the Pacific Northwest. Of course, there were no road trips for us in 2020 due to Covid. Sigh.

                            Cheers,
                            Alex

                              Hi Richard,
In answer to your question earlier last year, the Photo of the 63 was taken at Bloomington in 2016. However, I did have the car judged at a NCRS mtg in Novi in 1985 or so, and also at an event at the GM Design dome in 85 or 86. I also led that road tour with the 86 conv that you mentioned.
Glad to here you are doing well.
                              Bill
