The Waco event was my first NCRS meet and the first time for flight judging on my 65 glen green coupe. It was a great experience and I thank the Waco Chapter members who hosted this meet and the sponsors. A special thanks goes out to all the NCRS judges at the meet who took the time and energy to judge the cars and provide the feedback to the owners. I was really impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. In addition, I meet a number of really nice fellow corvette owners all sharing the same passion for these cars like me. Here are a few pics we took at the meet. You will see a pic of a 1957 vette which got the Duntov award at this years National meet. I was told the owner drove the car from the Dallas area to the Waco meet and did the same when he took it to St. Louis for the National meet, I was impressed to say the least. Mike SparrComment

Lone Star Regional Photos
Michael, thanks for attending the Lone Star Regional held in Waco and bringing your Corvette. Actually it is the Texas Chapter that hosts the event.
We have posted additional photos of cars entered in the meet on our Chapter web site, www.ncrstexas.org. We had a techinical glitch at the Awards Banquet that prevented the photos of members' Corvettes being shown at the time they received their ribbon. Sorry about that.

You were correct about the '57 Duntov winner being driven from Dallas to Waco for the event. The owner, Dave Ewan, also drove that '57 on the road tour to the National where he wonthe Duntov award with it. Dave is a firm believer in driving those Corvettes!Comment

I'll add my two cents. The Texas Chapter did a terrific job with the event. A great group of members that made all feel welcome. It was my first time to Waco, but not my last. Thanks guys!
I had my car Flight Judged there and learned alot from the process. The National C2 judges really know their stuff. I got my judging sheets in the mail today, along with my Top Flight Certificate, so I've got a new punchlist to work on over the Winter.

Reda & I would also like ti thank the Texas Chapter, Waco was the first NCRS event we every attended in 1996, we have not missed very many in thr years since. We would also like to thank them for the special plaque we received
