Just wanted to say hello to all and ask two questions regarding a 57 manual trans. 1) Is there a source for C/R 3 spd transmission gears and 2) is there a difference between the Corvette, passenger car and truck 3 spd transmission side covers? I believe the casting numbers (3731911) are the same but are the shift mechanisms the same?

Terry, welcome to the TDB. As far as gear sets would inquire with the transmission rebuilders. Also, check with Gary Pronesti (352) 638-5778 he might be able to point you in the right direction. Side covers are the same. However, the shifter rod shafts are upside down. Bolt slots for shift lever ears and opposite from pass car to Corvette. Gary....
