    68 derby caps

By the way I am kind of afraid to have my car judged, seeing all the bloggs about judging. You put so much blood sweat and tears, not to mention the $$$, into your pride and joy only to have it picked to death. As you can tell I am new to this process. Its like my dad never went to the Dr. as he was leary of the risk of hearing bad news.

Dale, moved your thread to the Technical Forum. Help Forum is for Q&A about the forum itself.

Don't be afraid to have your car Judged. My intro to Members when Judging their car is "you ought to know your car better than anyone". Meaning, you should take the Judging Manual and Judging Sheets and Judge your car yourself, step by step, bolt by bolt, etc. When you done this half a dozen times you'll have a good punch list to work on. When those items are corrected, then have a friend Judge your car. Same correction process. Then take it to a Chapter meet or have your Chapter do a "mock Judging" for a Chapter Judging school. By the time you get through these steps your car will be ready for Regional Judging. JMTCW, Gary.... p.s. remember Judging is not personal it's how it compares to the Judging Manual and you have the opportunity to make it as good as you want to

I'm unaware of any differences in the derby caps, but lets see what others have to say.

In regard to judging, I agree 100% with Gary. Judging is not personal.

You judge the car against the manual, that's it. Don't look at it as being "picked to death".
