    1964 Parking Lights/Turn Signal Lens

On a 1964 Corvette Roadster, what is the proper orientation of the (2) screws holding the lens on the light housing:

    A. Vertical at 12 and 6 o'clock
    B. Horizontal at 9 and 3 o'clock

I think mine are incorrect as they are currently (B). If wrong, how do I adjust them to be correct for judging?

    Thanks

    -Chuck

    Chuck,
Assuming you are talking rear lights.....Don't know fronts, but if still a question I could go out to garage and look.

I have a '64 coupe, but I don't think there is a difference....Mine are 'B' orientation, as are yours. At the bottom is the white wicking and no place for a screw.

Rears are horizontal or 3 and 9 with the hole for the wick at the bottom. Fronts are vertical or 12 and 6.

Agreed, the fronts should be 12 and 6. A good body man should be able to assist in getting these put back right. You'll have to remove the light housings to see what you have to work with in there. Should be an easy fix. Pretty common to find them in the configuration yours are in.
