Silicone and Dot 3
Here is a photo of Silicone and Dot 3 brake fluid after 3 months when I did the drain of Dot 3 and flush with silicone back in `96. I drained and filled a couple of times every few months until it ran clear.
I did the Flush and Fill method after reading the Paper published by Dow. I did put on new rubber lines.
I have checked the fluid often and it is still clear and I have had no problems.
This method was used befor I heard of flushing with alchol first.
Silicone is on the top.
