I have a 1972 Coupe 350/auto. In section 12, sheet A3.5 (in case you have a copy) of my Assembly Information Manual it shows what is titled to be HDLP Support, Actuator ASM & HDLP Door Monitoring Switch. Mine is missing from the right headlight door assembly. It shows to be GM part number 3951239.
Does anyone know what the switch is for? Does it send an indication to the cockpit in some way? If I needed to get one are they hard to find?
Thanks in advance,
Roger
