68 Interior Coupe Center Trim

Was the interior center trim between the 2 roof panels attached with 2 screws in 68, as opposed to the 3 posts as in later years? Thanks!

My 68 427/400 is a late car. 2,222 from the end of the run also has (2) screws.

Thanks to all of you.
I have a friend who thought perhaps the screws were an owner installed option, but was confused by not seeing any trace of the studs or 'grippers'.
