79 Rear Window Weather strip
Hello All, I was working on replacing the right window weatherstrips today. Got the front on without much trouble, started on the rear...lots more to remove to get at the retainers on the back side. Then I found out it was held on by pop rivets from the inside. Looked it up in the AIM, sure enough it shows 3 pop rivets were used to hold on the weatherstrip. What I would like to know has anyone used short self tapping metal screws instead of pop rivets when going back ? Thanks in advance.
