C-1 Shocks
I have a set of old DELCO shocks. Hoping someone can tell me what year they are. Fronts have the # 5552796 & 8 B 59. The rears have # 5520279 4 E 56. There are other # also. I have had these for 30 years.

Ken, the 5520279 is listed in the 56-7 AIM as rear shock number. P&A book crosses it to 5531213 which is the 53-7 Corvette rear shock part no. 4E56 is May 4, 1956. Can't find any info on the other part no.s Gary....

THANKS I Restored a 56 26 years ago. I thought that was the car they came off of. Could the fronts be a replacement? They are Delco. Would any other #'S help. I miss typed the #'S for the front's is 5552796.
