My Radiator looks like World War 3. If I put a Dewitt Alloy radiator in will I take a huge hit at judgment day. I like the idea of a cooler running alloy radiator but not if it's going to cost me a lot of points. Has anybody had this problem. Stewy

Re: Dewitt Aluminium Radiator for a 1960
If your car is one with the copper radiator you can expect 0 to 5 point deduct. The deduct would be for the core not being the honeycomb style as original. I am building a 60 290HP and do not know what the deduct will be for this one.- Top

Stew,
I would use the Dewitt and take the small point hit in exchange for a better and more reliable radiator. The original honey comb core is available to most radiator shops but can be expensive. Rich- Top
