I need help with some numbers

Can anyone help with this?

I have a 71 with AM/FM radio I need the base treble control knob. I have two numbers but my GM parts book does not have a section related to radio parts. The numbers are 3973612 and 3976298, I am not sure which is correct and where I can find the knob. The little tang that adjusts the base/treble broke off and now the entire knob spins... a pain. tks.

I know who listens to the radio in a BB corvette?

I don't know that a 1971 radio has a treble and base control knob. It does have a tone and balance knob, though. Is that what you're talking about? If so, it's either GM #3973612 or 3986873. No matter, though, as both are long-since GM-discontinued. However, reproductions of all the knobs are available. I think you can only get them as a set, but it's not too expensive.

Thanks so much Joe, I have seen some sold as complete sets of four knobs, I thought I might be able to get the "one" at GMpartsdirect if I had a good number.

I will just buy the set and save the others for my next restoration.
