Friend has original pan, but open storage, rat poop, etc has caused condition to be close to desperate due to rust. Are there any GM or repro pans currently available that come close to OEM or is it ebay, etc. Again, TIA - Dennis

Re: '67 350 hp oil pan source...
There are no GM-available pans that are anywhere near original. However, there is an excellent reproduction of the 63-74 "5 quart" pan (as used for the vast majority of 63-74 Corvettes and all 1967 Corvette small blocks) now available from Keen Parts. This pan is about as close to original as you can get. www.keenparts.com
Other Corvette vendors may also have this pan by now, but I believe that Keen is the source for all.
The Keen part number is 140406 and it sells for $269. They call it a "4 quart" pan, but it's the same one I'm talking about and the correct one for all 1967 Corvette small blocks. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

No, that's not a factor in this case. This pan was used for ALL 1963-74 Corvette small blocks with power steering. However, it was also used for most 1963-74 small blocks without power steering, too. As far as 1967 goes, it was used for ALL Corvette small blocks, with or without power steering.
The other pan, the "6 quart" pan (which is not currently reproduced) cannot be used with power steering. It was used for 63-65 small blocks with L-76 or L-84 (except 65 L-76 with power steering), early 1970 LT-1 (without power steering), and 1970-72 ZR-1.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
