    Midyear wiper motor

Trying to get everything working on the complete resto. Wiper motor was rebuilt and it did work at first, I just was going to prime the washers when the wiper motor wouldn't work. I can hear it click when I turn on the switch low speed and high speed and when washer is engaged. I tried another switch with the same result. Any suggestions? I was hoping I wouldn't have to take this one out and put in another motor.

    Thanks

You should check the ground connection. If it is not grounded properly, you will here the relay click on both the motor and the pump, but the motor will not run. Often the ground wire terminating at the starter bolt is the culprit. It supplies the ground for the wiper motor and the heater blower motor. You would not believe how many times I have seen people hook it on the batt. lead of the starter solenoid!
