58 Clutch linkage

Hi, What is the easiest way to get the linkage free and out of the way of the block, two bell housing bolts ok but that large spring wow what tension, what order and procedure to be able to fold that piece out of the way for non scraping of new motor, any pics if detailed would be cool or just good explanation. There is a very detailed procedure on page 6R-9 in the ST-12 (Corvette Servicing Guide). It has worked well for me.
