    1967 Questions

Where to you put the ground wire on the voltage regulator? Under which mounting screw? Also, are the screws that hold the body access plates in front of the rear tires painted or cad silver? I would think that they would be silver as the blackout was done before the body was on the chassis. Alos, the spare tire tub where it bolts to the chassis, are those four scres/bolts zinc or black phosphate? Do they have washers? and Do the washers come of of the bolts? What head markings?

I believe it goes on it's own sheetmetal screw, the same one the radio capacitor is mounted with is fou have a radio equipped car. See UPC 6, sheet B4 of the '67 assy manual

Jeremy -- for the second part of your question, the pic shows what is correct for 1965 MY. The '65 TIM&JG calls for integral washers, which is not what the AIM shows, nor what is seen in practice. 1967 may be the same; there's many past threads on this topic.

I think these were originally black phosphate self-tapping screws.

        Jeremy,
I agree with Wayne. The washers are separate and Phosphate plated and the bolts are plated the same with D Headmark. The Judges manual is incorrect on what I have observed on my 1967 Cars.

            Del -

Photo below shows the black ground wire attached to the voltage regulator under the radio capacitor attaching screw; if your wire won't reach, you have an issue with Lectric Limited.
