    C-3 A-Arm Covers

Can anyone tell me the proper positioning for the upper A-Arm covers on a 74? I'm not sure if the covers are suppose to cover the shock shaft, bushing, washer & nut (veiw #1) or if it's suppose to be folded and tucked into the A-Arm, exposing them (veiw #2). How's everyone else with a C-3 presenting theirs? THANKS.

#2 is the correct position -- the dust shields will function better that way, and we also get to see the incorrect (oops, I'm not supposed to use that word) upper shock washer.

Get the bigger one, and be sure you have the right rubber grommet as well. Someone will come along and give you the GM part number for the washer -- I don't have it here at work. If you don't have connections at a Chevrolet dealer to get a discount send a PM to Pete Lindahl through this board. He will sell you a couple.
