1967 corvette rear emblem location

Can anybody tell me the correct location for the rear emblem. The car is getting restored correctly and I Do not trust previous body work and location.

I can't resist... "probably on the rear"

Getting serious......
15 1/2 inches right of car centerline to lower left edge of bottom bar on the emblem. 5 3/4 inches from bottom bar edge to rear edge of body.

Emblem is at right angle to car centerline... does not follow rear body edge curvature.
