    62 Rear Frame Cross Member R&R

    Have never needed to replace this item on a C1 till now. The rest of the frame on this car is perfect, but rear cross spent a little too much time driving near the Pacific Ocean. Body is on the frame and would rather not remove it if not necessary. Would love a response from a member who has been there, done that. TIA - Best, Dennis

    I'm surprised you didn't blame it on me because of the extra weight in the first 50 miles from Lyle to Bend when you made me ride in the chase car!!!

      Dennis, I cut the rivets off and welded the new one on my '57. The welded the rivet heads on so it looks original. If I didn't tell you it had been replaced you wouldn't know it. Gary....
