69 Big Block Valve Cover Bolts

What is the correct config for 69 Big Block chrome covers with "A" bolts. Should there be hardness marks or not and what finish should they be Cad, Zinc or Black. Paul 18046

No grade marks -- I think that is what you meant. Silver color -- probably zinc.

      Hi Paul
First time for me to load up a pic but here is the A bolt. I salute Tom
Weigand for the instructions as posted on the board.

            Hi Ridge
Well its been slow. Having the first BCNCRS judging school at the neighbors house in late August and then traveling to Bend for the meet and just work and all its been slow. Installed the emblems about 6 months ago. Tried to install the NOS rockers but had to find the right nuts and bolts. Couldn't install the rockers as my friend Terry told me I have to install the Tri-angle splash shield. So I had to restore those and the bolts. So if anyone wants to know how to restore the staples and rubber mould and correctly paint it let me know. It also applies to the 67 cars without side exhaust. I matched the exact same paint as I had one piece that was original and mint.
So here is the pic of the emblems on the hood, pics of the restored hood latches, bolts for the bumper and the black phosphated ones for the rear bumper brackets. Maybe tommorrow I'll do some work but if my buddy is going fishing then it's "Tight Lines"
Have you found your exhaust stuff and other stuff for your car 67 L68? IF you haven't just fire me off an email and I'll see what other parts I have left.
            Thanks, Grant
