There has been a lot of discussion on frame pull dates but after reading a number of threads, I am still not sure how to write down the frame pull date on my 65. A photo in Noland Adam's book shows a frame pull date written as day/month/year but discussion in some NCRS threads says it should be written as month/day/year. Which is correct or could it have been written either way? Thanks for any clarification.
65 Frame Pull Date M/D/Y or D/M/Y?

Michael,
Believe you discover the correct sequence of numbers for the pull date are:
Month/Day/Year.

We've seen several original examples written either way. My April 65 frame was dated 4/19/65.
However, a St Louis assembly plant photo of frames on the frame line in late 1965 (early 66 model year) were dated DD/MM/YY.
I think the difference was probably due to different workers preference.- Top

Regarding frame pull dates.......what was the average time for a frame pull from storage as it relates to build date of the car? How many days before?

The same day or not more than one working day prior to the day the car came off the line.- Top

Thanks for the responses. I am going to use the MM/DD/YY sequence and use the build date as the pull date I put on the frame.
