Guess I don't know what we're supposed to be talking to you about, Brad...
It's well documented in the NCRS judging books that the D-308 caps used from '58-67 are embossed "Delco Remy" and "Pat Pending" without an "R" symbol between the two emboss lines. The equivalent part used from '68-72 was marked D-308R on the box and contains the "R" symbol between the two lines of emboss.

Hi Jack, Am getting nos motor ready to drop in and some ORIGINAL? parts are hard to FIND like Distributor Caps, repros or close? Better? Thanks Brad.Comment

judges capable of differentiating repo from original.the repo is usually a minor deduct. search junkyards for original if ya gotta have one, otherwise the nos originals are priced outa sight. good luck, mikeComment
