What's the opinion out there, will we see another generation of Corvette "STINGRAYS"? Anyone know why they went back and forth using the name "TINGRAY"?

Not sure about seeing another generation of Stingrays, but the Sting Ray was surely the brainchild of Bill Mitchell's vision for the marque. If you ever saw the '59 Sting Ray Racer, it does look a bit like the sea creature. There was even the story of how he wanted one of the show cars painted to match a shark he caught; and when the car could not be exactly matched, the workers painted the mounted fish to match the car.
