I just recieved my November copy of Hemming Motor news, and saw that the number 002, Grand Sport is on the auction block for the Jan. sale in Arizona. Does anyone know anymore about this???

If you are speaking of the Barrett-Jackson event in Scottsdale, I know for a fact that the docket has not been set yet for that auction. They are just coming up on the new Vegas event next weekend.
If the owner intends to sell it there I'm sure it will be included, but no cars are yet confirmed for the January show yet.

#2 Grand Sport is/was owned by Jim Jaeger in Cincinnati.
Rumor has it that it was recently sold to an auction company for somewhere between $7,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
How much will it bring at auction is anyones guess.
