I recently heard a rumor from a reliable source that T-3 repros will soon no longer have the DOT molded into the lens, but will instead have a stamp on the rear, where it isn't visible during judging. I wonder if this is why Lectric Limited is currently offering on its website individual lamps (rather than just full sets) for a limited time - maybe they want to deplete old stock...

That is my auction on eBay.
I am a LL master distributor.

At this time the DOT is on all the 4 bulb sets.
It is NOT however on any of the 2 bulb sets - not really sure why?
If you spend some time you can scuff the glass to hide the DOT.
But remember - they are still reproductions, - you will not fool the judges.

These are definitely much brighter then the old originals.
And even though I have 100's of original bulbs in my collection,
I still prefer to use these in ALL my cars. (would switch them for judging)

It was very discouraging when the original bulbs failed - sometimes very quickly. Even much more so with my Camaro bulbs, because those 7" T3 bulbs are SO MUCH harder to find.
