    Number on Bird Cage

    I removed my instrument cluster and noticed a number on the bird cage. Would this number have a meaning? The number is 8909.

    All AOS bodies had these numbers.

        Probably a sequence number, but I have never checked out the correlation.

          My late 65 AOS car does not have a number written on the bird cage.
