63 keys

at a meet i was told that 63s used only 1 key for everything not 2 keys the hex and the round is this true?

Michael,

Yes, Corvettes up through the '64 model year used one key. The two key system for Corvette started in 1965.

And with the key in the ON or OFF position in the ignition, you can remove it and use it to open/close the glove box lock - which I do all the time.
