New member looking for advise in Dallas

Hello all,
I joined NCRS a couple of months ago; the week after I bought my 63 Split Window, and I'm finally getting around to using these great resources. I live in Dallas and am looking for some referrals for both mechanical and cosmetic shops for my Sting Ray. Maybe I'm using the search feature wrong, but I can't seem to find any current info. I'd rather get this kind of info from an NCRS member rather than trust the Yellow Pages. Thanks, and I look forward to participating in as many local activites as possible.

Scott, first welcome to NCRS and the TDB. Second, congratulations on your '63 acquisition. Third, would like to invite you to join the Texas Chapter. www.ncrstexas.org It's a great Chapter with lots of good resources and outstanding Members. The Texas Chapter is hosting the LoneStar Regional Oct 23-25 in Waco. Fourth, best mechanical is Chuck and David Anderson in Ft.Worth (817) 763-8115 and best paint/body is Tom Ames (903) 366-2727. The Anderson's and Tom Ames have done lots of Top Flight NCRS cars and are well known and recommended by NCRS Members.
