    1971 Ls-6

There is a nice LS-6 coupe on ebay that is up to 140,000 & reaserve is met. It's nice to see good cars are still selling foe good money.

    Ken,

Rare, desireable cars with no doubt as to their original factory configuration are still selling. A white convertible with an odd drivetrain combination sold last June of '07 for 255K.

        Tom,

That car is still for sale, for 275K. There is some doubt that surrounds this car. Are you familiar with it?

I agree, I have a feeling that this will always be the case. I was at the Mecum auction this weekend and it seemed like every 67 that I saw had a bogus trim tag and a stamper motor. Prices thankfully for those cars were down quite a bit.

I think (my humble opinion) that we are getting too picky on these cars with scopes etc. To have paint pass judging any more we need to send the car to Cuba and then return it. The last really nice midyear I saw I asked the owner if he had ever had the car judged and his reply was, "once and that was enough for me, after I wanted to take it home and burn it". I'm wondering if we are being too cridical and possibly contamidating the "HOBBY" ? Boy, I better sit back and watch the flack now but it's just a opinion. Been there and done that !
